Growing up in the era that gave birth to Peranakan (or Nyonya) cuisine, Mrs Tan has been perfecting the family recipes she grew up with for many decades. For many years, it would only be friends and family, especially her children, who would enjoy the privilege of her deliciously authentic recipes.

In 2003, encouraged by the very same friends and family, she began promoting her most famous dishes at a private tea club in Bangsar. Immediately, the orders came pouring in. By 2008, Mrs Tan had bought a factory, had created more recipes and was ready to share her culinary gift with the world.

She called her new company Way, a name inspired by her own children’s names, as a symbol and reminder that only traditional values can bring authentic flavours to life.

We are a truly Malaysian food manufacturer of Asian sauces for the consumer and HORECA markets. Our products are aimed at individuals who lack the time to prepare and cook delicious meals. With our sauces, Asian dishes, which have traditionally required hours of laborious preparation and cooking, can be made in a few simple steps and within minutes.
