Malaysia Business Group at Malaysian International Food and Beverage Trade Fair (MIFB) 2024
The Malaysian International Food and Beverage Trade Fair (MIFB) is an annual event that connects local, regional, and international businesses with consumers and stakeholders across the ASEAN region. Held from 17 to 19 July at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, the 2024 edition of the Malaysia International Food and Beverage is themed “Elevating the F&B business; Empowering Innovations; and Enabling Transformation,” reflecting its dedication to driving innovation and transformation in the food and beverage industry.
This year, five companies from the Malaysia Business Group participated in the Malaysian International Food and Beverage Trade Fair to leverage the dynamic platform and enhance their brand presence in the ASEAN region. The participating companies includes Daily Fresh Foods Sdn Bhd, Vermi Industries Sdn Bhd, Spices & Seasonings Specialities Sdn Bhd, MHP-Miracle Health Products Sdn Bhd and Saraspice Sdn Bhd.
Daily Fresh Foods Sdn Bhd was founded in 1997 as a sweet corn producer, and has since grown to be one of Malaysia’s market leaders in sweet corn farming and processing. In addition to corn-based products, the company offers various sweet and savoury ready-to-eat snacks under the Daily Fresh brand. Among their featured products is their low-fat gelato ice cream, made with ingredients imported from Italy to maintain the flavour and authenticity of traditional Italian gelato. This gelato is not only a healthier alternative to standard ice cream, but it is also produced with “One-Shot” technology, which ensures precise and hygienic portioning of gelato in each cup.

Vermi Industries Sdn Bhd is a leading rice vermicelli manufacturer based in Johor, Malaysia. Under the DonMi brand, they produce instant vermicelli paired with a variety of spicy and aromatic soup bases, including flavours such as curry laksa, chicken soto, mee siam and tom yam. Spices & Seasonings Specialities Sdn Bhd is another company that manufactures flavourful Malaysian-style noodles under the Ibumie brand, such as Mi Goreng, Penang White Curry Mee, Penang Har Mee Soup and more. Besides instant noodles, Spices & Seasonings Specialities Sdn Bhd also produces chilli sauce under the Lingham brand.

With a dedication to promoting a healthy lifestyle, MHP-Miracle Health Products Sdn Bhd produces a wide range of organic products, such as natural wild honey, organic vinegar, organic phytomilk, organic wheat noodles and more. Meanwhile, Saraspice Sdn Bhd specialises in sourcing and producing high quality peppers from Sarawak. Saraspice’s aromatic and flavourful peppers are processed in accordance with international food safety standards and sustainability requirements.

Since its inception in 2001, the Malaysia International Food and Beverage Trade Fair has played a significant role in advancing the growth of the Malaysian food and beverage industry. The event is designed to cater to the needs of food and beverage leaders, showcasing innovative products and services, knowledge programmes, chef challenges, competitions and more. Additionally, this year’s Malaysia International Food and Beverage Trade Fair has introduced a new segment focused on food technology, MyFoodTech. MyFoodTech featured the latest advancements, solutions, and services in the food technology sector.
