Digital Transformation: Powering Growth and Accelerating Results

Wednesday, 20 March 2024

In today’s fast-paced business environment, it has become increasingly important for businesses to understand digital transformation and leverage on readily available cost-effective solutions. In an effort to equip businesses with actionable strategies that can positively impact company performance, mobileOne Technology Sdn Bhd organised the “Digital Transformation: Powering Growth and Accelerating Results” C-Suite forum in collaboration with Microsoft. The event was held on 20 March 2024 at Connexion Conference Centre and was supported by Microsoft, MATRADE and the Malaysia Business Group.

The event brought together industry experts, thought leaders and practitioners in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector, and served as a platform for the exchange of insights and best practices. The event also facilitated a dynamic discussion on practical experiences, challenges and success stories in digital transformation and Software as a Service (SaaS), Route to Market (RTM) and Revenue Growth Management (RGM) adoption.

The event started off with the sharing of market insights and trends in the Malaysian FMCG Industry by Ms Maslina M Mokhtar of Kantar World Panel, followed by wholistic approaches of digital transformation (DX) solutions by Benny Toh of mobileOne Technology. Andrew Woon of Faber-Castell also shared his digital evolvement for the 263-year-old stationary brand from Germany, where solar panels were installed for green energy practices, contributing to 30% of their electricity usage. DX enabled Faber-Castell to identify areas for improvement, thus optimising their productivity in manufacturing and commercial aspects.

Meanwhile, Jordan of Etika explained that DX has enabled a company starting from ground zero revenue company to grow into millions in revenue and expand its frontline presence. Besides that, Encik Azman of MATRADE highlighted the core functions of MATRADE, particularly the ways companies could leverage on their wide networking and business opportunities. Mr Yong Khai Ling of Crayon, a highly endorsed cyber security company by Microsoft, shared on the importance of understanding the cyber security for each organisation as well.

The digital transformation event concluded with the two panel speakers, Mr Leonard Tan and Mr Andrew Woon, sharing their insights and experiences on digitalisation. They discussed the advantages of digitalisation and how they have benefited from it in their past and current endeavours, while also providing predictions for future undertakings.
